Hush the Many
Had a fantastic night... went out to the Late Room with Lisa to see Hush the Many, followed by Clayhill. Both fantastic bands... I think the Late Room is a great venue - with excellent sound.
After that we went to Matt and Phred's and had a drink... we did invite the bands to come but they never turned up... oh well!
It was a good evening - nice to spend a bit of time with Lisa too. She's become a really good mate. Quite unusual to be able to go out with somebody completely unambiguously and have a great time.
Life's good at the moment. I'm going out a lot (Mr. Scruff on Saturday was fantastic) and doing quite a bit of music, and also have this really exciting feeling that I'm going to be seeing Clare on 15th (playing a gig in Sheffield, supporting Chris Townsend...).
Talking of gigs... I'm playing the Dry Bar tonight (Tuesday) and it's just £2 with a flier... Paper Wives and Sophie Nelson playing too... should be a lovely evening!
I've just been emailed a version of Flowers, Fevers and Dreams I recorded in Birmingham with the Devil and Casey Jones. It's sounding well good... but very very fast! I'm playing in Birmingham on Wednesday actually, so maybe i'll get them to come along and join in ;-)
