Good gig on Thursday. We played to a distinctly non-empty pub (I won't go so far as to say 'full') and got a good reaction. We'd re-worked the set list and it worked a lot better, although it still needs some tweaking (well okay, it needs the crap songs taking out and new good ones put in there instead). My favourite of the night was Jean Jearez, only because I thought I played it really well :) We got a proper encore (that is, people who weren't our friends asking us to play some more) which was a real boost.
Got a confirmation letter about starting the job on Tuesday, so it really is happening ;) I'm a bit scared about having to get up early every day again, but I'm sure I'll get used to it fairly quickly. I kind of wish I hadn't got things to do planned for every night of my first week of work... Still, it'll take my mind off work when I'm at home; it's bound to be stressful for the first week or so.
