I love it when you say holiday :) I think I will try to take one next month, I'm usually not into taking days off for no reason at all.

I hear you about the taking days off for no reason thing i'm like that too... you'll have to find a reason like "oh there is a really great county fair on" or something.

I'm not sure how familar you are with are version of the english language, but yeah we use vacation for taking extended time off and visiting people or places and holiday is for pre-scheduled days (i.e. christmas, easter, valentines days.) I think we should start using holiday like you use them just cause I like it. It sounds much more fun. :)

Yes we do tend to inject quite a bit of money into a community. Have you met many american sailors?
