Nothing out of the ordinary, even! Parvati and I were arguing, and she left to go sleep with Smith or some shite like that, and then I... went up and punched him.

You and Parvati were arguing? What were you two arguing about? And how much of this whole incident can be chalked up to unresolved Parvati Issues left over from when you were fourteen?
Not that I'm saying Smith didn't deserve getting punched in the face. He sort of does in general. It just may cause further Parvati problems.

Right.
No, she doesn't. Sylvie's one of those people who can't talk without flirting or walk without sauntering.
I dunno. It's complicated. You two've been friends for years, so if she says something now she risks a relationship that's valuable in a different way. On the other hand, her reaction to Sylvie might just be based in generally being annoyed at you flirting with someone she thinks isn't good enough for you. Or it might just be the way girls tend to consider their male friends sort of their property even if there's never been any romantic or serelationship. They're weird like that.

We don't exactly how with Smith she is, though. I mean, is this True Love Forever and Ever, or is this just She Hasn't Gotten Laid In A While And Thinks He's Kind Of Hot?

She started it, I was just talking to Sylvie and she got pissed. I dunno why.

Funny how that works - men talk to Sylvie, and the women they know get hacked off about it. Mandy did that to me a little while back.
...hnh. You think maybe Parvati has a thing for you that's heretofore gone unmentioned?

Sylvie doesn't make things any easier, admittedly. But Parvati and I aren't in a relationship like you and Brockl Mandy!
...Nah. She would'a said something, Parvati's not the type to keep things like that a secret.
