Stupid LJ Reply Threads! They confound me!

That other one was geting unwieldy, so I've decided to start another thread to discuss the "Casino Night" episode of "The Office." Especially since Amycurl has not indicated that she has seen the ending ( Read more... )

And I've finally seen the ending. Just as I was at the end of the "Don't. Don't do that." totally crying scene, wedding plans happened all in a rush in that way you can't control. So, it wasn't until this afternoon that I got a chance to re-watch and see the end. And the smooch. And the way she completely smooches back.

I agree that it is the most subtle cliff-hanger ending of a sitcom EVER. It forces you to pay attention to what the unresolved issues are--will he take the transfer? what does "I really think I do" mean? What was she about to tell him before he totally has his way with her lucsious mouth?

These are all things that I. Must. Know. Now.

Um, not that patient, I guess, if you couldn't already figure that out.

BTW, love your new icon. Is it a reference to something I should know? *hangs head in shame*

Still trying to not pay attention to tonight. In some ways, it's an odd anniversary. It was mid-May last year when I completely unexpectedly went on a West Wing bender, which led me to TWoP, which refined my foucs, which ended me up here. With you.

(And I had totally called the newspaper editor thing before you posted it today. There's only so many Tom Farley in Racine, WI. Did I just freak you out? I swear, I had no nefarious plans for the info.)

It's cool, amycurl. I'm flattered that you looked me up.

Re: my icon: Thanks. No, it was just the best photo of him that fit the icon space.

Her mouth is luscious, isn't it? Jenna Fischer's continuing presence on my TV will ease my Janel Moloney withdrawl. As I said ... um, Friday? ... I don't describe every hottie I see as "I have a crush on her." I reserve that for the Special Ones.

"Must. Know. Now."
I hear you. I have no patience whatsoever; well, that's probably stretching it. I have patience only when I know it will be worth my while to be so.

Were you watching TWW during Season 1? We were left all the summer of 2000 with "Who's been hit?" But it does serve its purpose; we'll be counting the days until September, when we see where they go with this.

"I have patience only when I know it will be worth my while to be so."

Why do I feel as though you aren't talking about TV here? :)

Luckily, I was spared that particular torture. There was something else I watched opposite West Wing the first season, and I didn't start until mid-second season, catching up with Bravo re-runs. There's no way I would have handled it.

The heavens just opened, and boy, are they pissed. It's hailing right now. Want to hide under the covers with me?

"Want to hide under the covers with me?"

We'll have to come up with something to do while we're there ...

Of course, I meant pretending that West Wing wasn't ending tonight. What else could you have meant?

Babe, you are clearly a woman of many talents, but I'm not sure "innocent" is one of them.

'Cause you say "innocently," and all I'm hearing is "suggestively."

Well, that's not really my problem, now is it? If I were responsible for everything that went on in that brain of yours...

By the way, the policy your LJ has of approving or screening or holding comments (or whatever it is), really inhibits my need for immediate gratification.
