The Office -- "Casino Night"

amycurl and marymary, I don't care if it's just the three of us blabbing about this. Because like marymary, I am DYING to talk about this episode of my other favorite show. There: I said it, and I'm glad I did. (OK, now I'm feeling bad, as if other shows I like would feel bad about that phrasing, so let me amend: As of 8 p.m. Sunday (sniff), "The ( Read more... )

Wait, am I the girlfriend or the inappropriate crush? ;-) Well, avert your eyes the rest of the way, and I'll return to totally hitting on you in places Liz hangs out.

"OT, but ..."
Marymary, that is adorable, bringing the TWoP ettiquette over here. It's my LJ, so it's my party, and my "guests" can talk about what they like. I don't know why I thought you meant Jerry; I guess I reverted back to when I realized that funny does, in fact, go a long way.

The warehouse manager is named Darryl. He's played by Chris Robinson, and like everyone else on this cast, he's terrific.

Oops, almost forgot: High five! (smack)

The thing to keep us wondering about all summer -- like the answer to "Who's been hit?" in the summer of 2000 -- is what question is answered by Pam saying "I think I am?" I think I am in love with Jim? I think I am breaking up with Roy? Hmmm ...

Right, that's the question. I have to listen to "I think I am" again to hear how she says it --- probably a clue if I listen hard.

Also, see my post of 1:57 CST, above. What do you think will happen? How does this play out next season? I mean, we know Pam is in love with Jim too, regardless of what she said to her mom. So what will the writers have her do? I can't decide what I think.

Darryl was awesome. That scene and the "confessional" were perfect.

Tom, I'm pretty sure you're the inappropriate crush. :) But amy, why inappropriate? I think my crush on Tom is quite righteous and proper. Tom, do you feel cheap in any way? Wait, you guys aren't, like brother and sister, separated at birth, are you? Cause that really would be inappropriate.

We haven't done DNA tests or anything -- although collecting the data could be fun if done the right way -- but to my knowledge, amycurl and I are not related. She has described herself as having dark, curly hair and olive skin, and I could not be less like that.

Yikes, in that case I'd better start hoping you're not MY brother! (Well, not that I wouldn't want a brother like you...you know what I mean.)

On the other hand, maybe I should go shopping for another brother. My actual brother lives in Sweden now, and as such is no use to me. He didn't talk much even when he was here, so you can only imagine.

I think I'd rather we weren't brother and sister. You know, just to keep options open ;-)

Yeah. A big yeah. Not only could I never online-flirt with you, but I'd have to be retroactively squicked, and that can be painful.

Do you have any real siblings?
