The Sketchblog Lives!
Finally got around to scanning in my latest sketches! Good grief, I need to draw more personal art. Fortunately, nothing gets me a-sketchin' more than fangirling.
I have this strange habit of unintentionally drawing actual people. I mean, does that look kinda like Orlando Bloom playing Link or what? I guess all blond elves are the same to me. And yet, if asked, I could not repeat this trick.
Also, I am crap at drawing hands. Hence, he has none.
Meant to be a cute picture of Link and Zelda asleep, but it actually looks quite uncomfortable. So... just imagine he's smelling her hair or something, 'cuz otherwise she's sleeping on his face.
Woo, look, I even 'colored' it.
More monotone-colored pictures for ya. I haven't been paying any attention to my comic lately! So here's Zoe with Matafleur.
Cammy with Caridad and Esperanza (I finally named her weapons). Her tail dagger was left out, um... completely on purpose! It's name is Fe (they're Spanish for Faith, Hope, and Charity).
I need to draw a Shoumi picture to complete this little set.
Spur of the moment sketch. I felt like drawing a dragon, so I looked up the dragon avatar LZ designed for Vanya ages ago. I kinda want to finish the colors on this, but the sketch is so rough it's discouraging.
Even though it's been years since my fashion designing craze, sometimes designs still hit me out of the blue. The only recourse is to sketch them out. Now, if I had some fancy shindig to wear something like this too, I'd totally make it.
This particular design has the honor of actually becoming a real outfit, as I'm putting it on my cosplay list! I've always wanted to do a Gothic Lolita costume. I've already picked up a bunch of the accessories for it, too... urk. I shouldn't be starting new projects before I finish my current ones. But it's gonna be so cute!
Speaking of projects in the works, I have entirely too many half-finished pictures open in Photoshop... most of them Zelda-related:
There needs to be more hours in the day. At least 15 extra for sleeping alone!
