Donnie Darko and iTunes
Yesterday, I was showing someone the amount of music in my library. Just about 10,000 songs, 43GB, whatever. What i was looking at was the fact that I had 28 days, 6 hours, 38 minutes, 51 seconds. I was reading it, and started thinking, "Wow. This sounds a lot like Donnie Darko."
So, I look up how much time there is until the world ends, and I find it to be 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, 12 seconds. I was only 3 minutes and 21 seconds off. I sorted my music my track time, found a song with this length and converted it to AAC, keeping the original MP3. So now, the bottom of my iTunes library reads:
10005 songs, 28:06:42:12 total time, 43.05 GB
Someone just let me know when to start the countdown, and I can provide music until the end of the world.
