You know, these secret candies kind of seem like something else Fred and George might cook up, if they could find a way to do it. I'd like to think they'd be more selective about the kind of secrets they'd reveal, though ( Read more... )

secrets are yummy, yuuko, envy, hinamori, kenshin, can never trust you again, curse day, affected, the city's full of weirdos, snape, mad hatter, sarah, my secret candy heart, you guys are freaks, neville, katan, dexter, but secrets aren't good for your teeth

From what I've heard about Fred and George, I'm inclined to think you're right. But hopefully they'd pick nicer messages.

I'm sure they would. Sometimes they go a little far -- supposedly, anyway, I don't think so! -- but Fred and George aren't cruel.

It'd be nice to know, if only to know who to avoid. I've never even heard of someone named Envy, but I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the warning.

I know what you mean. And I hadn't either, but apparently, practically everything he says is a lie. I have to hand it to these candies -- there's some stuff it's kind of nice to just know.

I was talking about this with Artemis a bit earlier - we have a theory that the hearts we all received might have been purposefully sent to us. The messages seem too specific to be completely random. If that's the case, even though it's awkward and even kind of horrific, it is, like you said, nice to know.

That's an interesting theory. It explains the ones I found in my room, anyway.

... But what about the ones I found in the street and ate? You think I was meant to have those too?

Maybe? It's just a theory, of course. But I've never really liked thinking that things were entirely left to chance.

It's a possibility, anyway. And you know, if the City can plan these curses and things, it can probably plan them right down to the last detail ...
