Since so many of you lovely people on my f-list have enriched my life with lots of new and different music - and also since the summer is coming, which always serves to get my moods down since I love winter the best - I would like to introduce you to Finnish Winter Metal. Yes, that's how they classify themselves. Who? The band Immortal Souls. Nice lyrics too.
Here's a couple of their songs:
Winterheart Everwinter Sacrifice And while we're at it, let's throw in a couple of other (metal) songs from other nice artists... In tune with the coming Easter, here's Parakletos with
"I Denna Mörka Timma" and
"Frestelsen", they are a Finnish band singing in Swedish. Deuteronomium is a Finnish death metal band, here's their
"... To Die And Gain".
And that there should be some Norwegians too (from Telemark!), here's Arvinger with
"Blodspakt",
"Mørkets Dal" and
"Til Evig Tid".
There being one world of difference between the following and the previous ones (even if in some sense there's not that much difference), here's a couple I have to include: two classic Croatian songs from Ivanski,
"Nada" in tune with Easter - I simply love it - and
"Zvijezdo moja", another very beautiful song. Or well, all of their songs are beautiful. ^^;;
Hope you like at least some of them a wee bit. ^^
I know I've been quite absent lately, was down with the influenza for three weeks and otherwise I've been quite stressed out with everything, but things should get better, if not soon, then at least little by little. I hope that everything is going well with all of you, and I'll be adding some comments to your posts in the near future. Take ye care and be ye safe and happy! ^^
PS. Oh, and of course, how could I forget Agathon's Legacy? *g* Their lead singer, also known from Finnish "Idols", is a phenomenon! Remember the name Kristian Meurman, he can sing everything from classic songs to heavy metal... Can hardly wait when he'll be actually recording something. Here's
"Tears For You" from Agathon's Legacy anyway, and you can hear Kristian sing the beautiful
"Lapin Kesä" and many other songs on
YouTube. ^^__\,,/ You may also want to check out the newest wonder of Lahti,
Ari Koivunen. He's got a very handsome voice too. See his version of Stratovarius'
Hunting High And Low for an example. ^^
-yet another edit- O_o;; Does anyone know what's happened to
quinesale? *shocked to find her gone*
