random update...
let's see... what has been goin on with me lately. Not much really. At least it doesn't feel like much.
Haven't heard anything about the job interview, but I don't expect to until end of this month beginning of next month. I'm feelin more and more like I won't get it, which will piss me off, but its out of my hands now. I just think they want someone who already has management experience even though this job is the perfect "gain your experience type a job".
Last Thursday Andrea, Robert, and I went to Modest Mouse. They played at the Berkeley Community Theater, which is on a high school campus. I think it being on a high school campus made for the no alcohol policy, which was a real surprise to us. The opening bands sucked so bad. I am surprised that they even got to be opening bands. I don't think doing the "pass the instruments" around thing is ever a good idea. Modest Mouse, however, was really fucking good. Isaac Brock didn't really sing one song identical to the album versions. It made everything really interesting. Mostly songs off the new album, but a good dose of older songs, too. I didn't realize how much banjo was on "Good News For People Who Love Bad News".
Last Saturday was a really fun night. Marcus' 30th birthday at The Bears. I got to hang out with a lot of people I haven't seen in days. May have had a bit too much to drink... oh well.
The move is almost upon us. Get the keys to the new place on the 15th. I can't wait to get the hell out of the dirty hole we're in now. Not really looking forward to the actual move, though. I'm not really a "I must keep this" type of person. I have a feeling a lot of my stuff will be thrown away or donated. No need for extra garbage.
Oh yeah... my work decided to give everyone an additional bonus. The paycheck on the 15th will have an extra $300.00, which is great cause I am poor as shit right now...
been listening to the Dave Matthews Band Golden Gate Park Concert a whole lot lately. Something cool about listening to a show you went to. Granted I can't remember much from it.
