Big News
Surgery went well last monday.....still sore, so now I have this huge slash across my throat. Just another battle scar to show off I guess. Boston went ok last Wed. There is one definate treatment...its called a Lymphocyte Transplant which is just a 15 minute IV drip. I will be in Boston for the day of that. They are looking for a donor right now. They wanted to give me a little bit of Chemo but I turned it down. I dont ever want to be on that again...Dr. Soifer was really optimistic today though so I guess its not that bad, then again I am no doctor so I dont know. After the lymphocyte transplant there are four other options...they are all experimental antibiotical procedures.....they dont perform any of them in Boston yet....I may have to go out to Texas to get treated...Housten to be specific. I am not sure when any of this will occur as we are still waiting for the results of the biopsy from monday. So they will contact me within a week or two..until then, I wait...and become more anxious as the days pass.
