Hope for a new world?
So -- I was talking to someone today & needed to make sure that she knew it had been raining all day, in case she wasn't already aware. There ARE some people who are more or less stuck in caves during the day. I have had a few of those jobs myself.
Then a strange thought hit me (yes, it kinda stung) ...
Let's say that some major catastrophic event hit the earth at 1:30 pm (we're just going with my time zone for right now, so suck it!). It sweeps the earth, killing everyone for the next few hours (maybe it is chemicals, maybe it is an invasion ... who knows ... not the point here!).
5pm rolls around, & alllll these people who have been stuck in caves all day roll out to find a world empty save for themselves & the rest of their cavedwellers.
Our world would be re-built by Gov't Office Workers, Nerds, & the occasional non-smoking StageHands.
How's that for a horror film?!
