(no subject)
Well its official, im part of the club now! got my first speeding ticket! woo-hoo *sarcasm* . actually, its suprising that i lasted a whole year and a half without one. Even good ol' doogey got one before i did, which suprised the crap outta me. =)
yup, so 186 dollar ticket. i was doing 62 in the 45 zone by the truck stops. What pissed me off is that i didnt even know i was speedin that badly. for some reason i thought it was 55, which pissed me off that i was pulled over off guard like that. I'd rather get pulled for intentionally speeding. that'd be far more fun.
so, 186 dollar fine, gotta pay the increase in my insurance bill, and im grounded for a week. I'm allowed to go to work and my appts but thats about it. Thankfully, i can still have company, so feel free to pop in and see me anytime, im not going anywhere =)
Slight silver lining to this whole ordeal, i now have lots of time to finish cleaning the basement, sort through and give more thought to all my college crap, and actually start reading for AP Lit......ok maybe not the reading.
