Girl Power

Stepford wives is a show about good old girrrrrrl power gone wrong. which made me realise that as we progress into the 22nd century, women are inching closer to conquering the world.

by coincidence, i read about an article in today's Strait Times on Ho Ching, the wife of our new Prime Minister - who also happens to be the 6th most powerful woman in Asia and ranked as 24th in the world. Condezzela Rice, national security chief (?) happened to ranked top of the list. it's pretty amazing to know that women are able to weld that much power.

once again, we learnt that girl power, is not to be underestimated.

would the world really be a better place if it is ruled by women?

while the men ruled the world with logic, women might rule it with their heart - of course, this would stemmed from women being the emotional creature yadda yadda yadda but if the truth to be told, women sometimes can be as ruthless or as cold-blooded as men.

pardon me, i'm no feminist specialist. but i'm glad to see women are able to put themselves on par with men.

mid-way through the show, i related to nicole kidman's character for her preference in black clothings. yes, i wallow in black clothes.

black racer-back, black spaghetti top, black capris, black baby tee, black turtle neck, black tube, black halter, black skirt, black dress, black undies, black bra, black...

ok, i'm out of point.

p.s Ann Roth did a great job with Nicole's clothes in Stepford wives, especially the gown was a total killer.
