*SIGH*
I had to go and post pictures of the kittens. Went out last night before bed to put food in the bowl, and discovered that mom had moved the litter to a "safer" place. She's definitely a very wild cat, and wasn't very happy with us humans prowling around, even if it was only a couple of times a day. I only hope she found another place as safe as our shed. :-(
Something seems to have eaten some more of the food overnight, so I'll keep an eye out for mom and her kittens in the coming weeks. Chances are they didn't go far.
Even if it was only fleeting, it was nice to see the the beginnings of life in the spring.
