I dumped Nick over the telephone while I was drunk. I'm an asshole... but whatever. We're still friends.
I'm in a band. Julia talked me into buying an electronic drum kit so that we could be in a band, and we're awesome. We have 5 songs already, 3 of which have lyrics, and our first band practice was 3 days ago.
Our first show is in November. I can get us at least one show in Philadelphia, if not a couple of different shows. We have a free practice space. Shit is coming together.
Our first song has the most boring drum beat in the world, but it works for that song, and I'll probably put some oomph into it. Our fifth song FUCKING ROCKS, and the beats, of which there are a bunch, are fucking awesome. I'm impressing my own pants off, but I guess having band practice four hours a day helps.
