I found your sack doll a while ago but I never told you. She just kind of followed me home one day and I wanted to clean her up before I gave her back. I kept meaning to tell you, really.

You did? I thought if I had one at all, she'd be long gone by now.

She was in a pretty bad state when I found her. I'd have returned her soner but I can't get the stains out.

Stains? ...What does she look like, anyway?

[The screen flickers to life with a faint "Hold on a second" in the background.

"Hey" He calls to the other side of the room. The picture moves as he walks, looking for the doll who is quite content where she is on the window ledge. The sun is nice today and a girl likes to see what's going on, even if there isn't much traffic all the way out here.

She looks up as Tom approaches, curious as to what he's doing. Thinking he might be taking a picture, she poses, tilting her head and putting her good arm up against the window.

It's easy enough to see what he was talking about now. The doll looks like hell, but it sort of feels like she's supposed to. Maybe some of the bruises aren't as vivid anymore, he has tried to wash her several times, but they're visible.]

Eileen: just sayin' ;[

You know what? Why don't you hang onto her for now? She looks happy.

Tom: aw shucks
