Summer School
First day of summer school for Matthew. Judging from the comments I heard while I was showering, he wasn't too pleased about it. I think he's gotten used to sleeping a little later in the morning and mom had to wake him up a bit earlier. (he still comes to our bed at about 5:30 and snuggles with us, usually falling asleep there.) He was saying things like "no, I don't have to go." "but you want to see your friends don't you? "no..." but apparently he was excited when he got there.
After school he went with his mom to the library and Tristan was there, and the two of them chased each other up and down.
When I got home I did a bit of wood cutting on the pile of wood left by the tree trimmers, and Matthew helped me haul it to the front of the barn with his quadbike. Afterwards, at book time, he wanted me to read a story from busy busy town, but to change the names in the story to his name and that of his friends, especially Kyle.
