Me vs the Skunk(s)
I really don't want the skunk living under my deck (see the previous post). So I paid to have a trap and relocate service set a live trap to try and get the skunk.
Day 1: I watch the skunk walk around the trap and go everywhere but in the trap.
Day 2: I wake up in the morning and find a Raccoon in the trap. I let him out and he runs off.
....
Day 4: In the evening I see two skunks walking around the trap but not going in. In the morning the pears and graham crackers with peanut butter were gone. The trap has been tripped but there is no skunk in the trap.
Day 5: They mock me. Once again the pears and graham crackers with peanut butter were gone and the trap wasn't tripped. Every time I look in the back yard during the night I see them walking about. When I go out they dive under the deck. I need to ask for a new trap.
KKKHHHHAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!
Day 6: 8/20 Once again, the bate is gone but no skunk in the trap. Today we got a different trap. We shall see.
Day 7: 8/21 A young raccoon was in the trap. I set him free. No skunks.
Le sigh, le mope....
