"The Winter Lull"

When it comes to LARPing in the Northeast, are there still events to go to, like one-days and revels, or does everything just shut down? Obviously there are a couple of very important one-days this particular season, but I'm wondering just how much uber-cold costuming I'll need in general.

Nero Boston (Volta), being the brave and wonderful chapter that it is, is running full weekend events this Dec and Feb, and is doing a 1-day in March.

And as you mentioned, there will also be the National 1-days in Nov and Jan, held at one of Volta's sites. ::cheers::

Nero Mass (Ravenholt) also does a 1-day revel in the Jan-Feb timeframe, and Madrigal does a full weekend winter event as well.

So all in all, not too bad. You might want to look into a set of winter larp clothes... at least a heavy cloak.

I was planning on two outfits for Keielis, but I'd better make it three. What's going to be the big issue is having transform costuming for both cold and warm weather...

And then I need to get stuff together for my Madrigal character >.

OMG YAY Madrigal! Any thoughts on a character concept yet?

Oh yeah, I've got the concept down SOLID.

Khanval, Embrech Paladin/Priest of Aradach. I'm not 100% committed to my choice between Light and Shadow, but I figure that can wait. There's a special surprise to him, but it's going to take a lot before I'm comfortable doing it. It'll be a good time, though! :D

I'm open to it changing as I get exposed to more Madrigalness, but I'm pretty comfy with who I've got thought up.

That sounds great. If you ever have any questions, I'm more than happy to talk to you about it. Wow an Embrech huh? I haven't seen one in game yet. That should be pretty cool too.

YAY! I highly suggest submitting your character history to plot before the event. You get an extra CP and plot might even incorporate your story into the game. :) It's AWESOME!
