So, after a long and drawn out hiatus, I have finally finished editing my novel, "A Field of Owls."
It's literally my fault that it took so long, and I apologize to those who genuinely showed interest in my work. I finished editing it just the other night and spent a solid week drilling through it, ensuring that it was the best I felt it could be.
I am glad to say that, though I am not a prideful person and rarely ever enjoy or share my works, I am extremely proud of this work. I felt that it was strong in every way that I needed and wanted it to be in, while I omitted anything superfluous or inconsistent.
I am working on copyrighting the manuscript before I offer any viewings, but I am excited to put it onto the internet. Obviously it would only be a downloadable Txt.file or Pdf.file, but I am trying to keep the momentum running. I am going to begin to search for a literary agent, submit my manuscript and get my words into hard/softcover.
If anybody has any help regarding this stage, I would be extremely grateful for any assistance. This is a field that I truly have no strengths in, so it'll be challenging enough as it is.
Once I've established ownership of my work and have a legalized copyright, I'll see what I can do to send the files out with perhaps a small donation to help pay for my very expensive rent/cupcake addiction... it's a tough world out there.
In the next post, I will include bunches of new photos that Keiko has taken the time to snap, edit, beautify and hug. Many of them are from her own entries from Cape Cod, but some are slightly newer.
Plus, I just found out that the modeling gig I offered to do for my friend, is for an awesome denim jean company. I don't know how much I am allowed to say yet, so I will just hold off until further notice, but tomorrow should be fun.
Many hugs and respectful kisses.
