(no subject)
So I am in California right now. It is really nice here. So far I have driven down to Santa Monica from Los Angeles, the airport, and driven through Bel Air on Sunset Boulevard. Our hotel is right in the center of Hollywood. It is a few minute walk to the Chinese Theater, and it is really cool. We are sitting on top of a shopping center, and last night we ate California Pizza Kitchen, which was great, and walked around the city. While walking, I swear I saw Johnny Depp walking right by an Jack Sparrow look a like. HAHAHA! If it was him that would be somewhat ironic. I have taken many pictures, and none of them are loaded yet, but I promise that there are a bunch of really sweet random pictures.
There is a hot topic really close to the hotel entrance and everytime we walk by it, I look at the Nacho Libre shirts in the store window. HAHA! Nacho Libre was a hilarious movie. My dad and I are thinking about watching it on Tuesday, and hopefully he will like it as much as Christine, Kristen, and I liked it.
We watched an amazing short film at Mosaic, a sweet church in Los Angeles, called Most. If you have the opportunity to watch it, you should. It was nomintated for an academy award like two years ago. Pretty nice, had some really great themes going on. Some really art aspects to it. The film making was just amazing. I wish I knew who had made it so that I could see something else that they did.
So, that is pretty much all that has happened. I am looking forward to today. We are going to explore the city, and hang out with some cool California people. HOORAY!
Kasey won at Michigan yesterday, America tied. So far, this weekend has been on the the best weekends of the year.
