Okay, so I've got the story outlined pretty well, but I haven't actually started writing it! SO...Camp NaNoWriMo starts in three days and I've decided to use this BB as my focal point.
I work better when I know what my people look like, and I've done my casting. Some of them are straight from the Peter Jackson movies, but not all of the women were in the movies, so I had to do it. Yipes. I hate picking FC's for RP or for fic.
Anyway...here we go.
No big change - I seriously love Cate Blanchett's portrayal of Galadriel.
A lot of folks do Lothiriel with dark hair, and I would have, except I need her to be Faramir's twin. Since I now see Faramir as played by David Wenham, I went with Rachelle Lefevre. She's got the right hair color to match Faramir (and Boromir - her half brother). (Yes, there's a story behind that, but it'll wait.) This picture has her eyes almost right. I want a silver gray.
Again - no change, no shock. She's got the impish and the "get this done" attitude
Liv Tyler made a fantastic Arwen, so again - no change.
My OC - People don't like OC's, but they'll have to deal. I want Merilin in there - she's a cousin of Aragorn's, but her involvement will be on a different front of the war. Ashley Greene has the right general coloring (though gray eyes would be better) and she's got a young face that shows maturity well.
I wanted Dís to have authority and vulnerability. Plus I needed a physical presence that could stand up to Richard Armitage's Thorin. Lana Parrilla has all of that. She rocks that whole look.
Peter Jackson's OC - again - no change - Evangeline Lilly
Yet another fantastic portrayal...so no change - Miranda Otto
