Catching up with the Ailments challenge... as I started writing in this community with one prompt from that challenge, I wanted to write the other prompts as well and tried to fit them more or less together

These are all really good - I sympathise with poor Gimli and his tooth problems - but Eadfrid really strikes a chord, for me, as I have a lot of feeling for those youngsters left behind when Rohan answered.

Thanks! Eadfrid - his name means "blessed peace", by the way, the most fitting I could come up with - and his plight has been in my mind since I saw that movie scene for the first time, when Éowyn decides to go to Gondor. "What with those who remain behind?"

On a side note, you really have the most awesome icons!
