He snorted with mirthless humour, causing his horse to nicker enquiringly. He patted it reassuringly “at least you know where you belong” he muttered.
Elladan glanced at Elrohir; they’d insisted on accompanying ‘little brother’ to The Angle, and were worried.
When they camped, Estel would not be deterred.
“Do it!”
“Are you sure?” said Elrohir.
Estel nodded.
Elvish knives made short work of his long, plaited hair.
“Now… I am Aragorn.”
