Boromir stretched luxuriantly, the warmth in this secluded wheat-field’s corner was very pleasant, and the fragrant smell of baking goodies filled him with delight. Yes… he rather liked this field cooking.
He’d been dubious when Théodred first suggested it. Boromir, to his own surprise, had baulked at the idea, it wasn’t necessary to do it outside; there were rooms, everything in its proper place…
But now… they’d kneaded, pummelled, let things rise to perfection… time for baking in the sunlight - the curving golden skin slick, taut…
Boromir smiled ...better turn him over, or someone was going to burn their cherries!
