"You'll be grounded for a while, Glorfindel," Erulisse said. "It's going to take time, pressure, and steam heat to make you a new set of skis. I can start the laminating with some cured wood I have, but the heat will have to wait."
"How do you heat them? You don't have a sauna in your forge."
"I borrow Turgon's steam bath, but I have more luck with that when the weather is warm. Idril usually haunts the room when it's snowing - she hates the cold since crossing the Helcaraxë."
For a short time their memories filled the silence.
