I love imagining Eärendil's point of view. It was a challenge to write a chapter aboard Vingilot for my story "Starship". I love your imagery, "Vingilot’s sails swelled with the winds of heaven, leaving stardust rippling in her wake."

I love Earendil's character and the thoughts about his sons and their respective civilizations/cultures are so much what any father would wonder, it makes him more approachable, in a way. You have some beautiful phrasing in your writing here, just lovely and resonant.

The star imagery in this was really quite lovely. I could easily imagine a ship sailing in the heavens with silvery stardust in its wake.

I love this moment in Earendil's time, this musing about the fate of his sons, and his watching them in this way. This is brilliant.

I really like seeing this from Earendil's own perspective, with him looking down on people.
