lent

well im not very religious. I do however try to give something up every lent just for the heck of it. Ive always given up a big part of my daily routine. Meat for the past three years, swearing, other stuff. Its annoying but in the end i some how feel a bit better, you know, after im no longer being sick from a huge ass hamburger after not eating meat in a long time. This year im not giving anything up, rather i am going to make a bit of a lifestyle change.
By the end of lent, i want to be a lot healthier. I was going to quit smoking, but frankly i dont want to. I enjoy smoking a cigarette with lenny and jim. I do however want to cut back to one pack a week, and then less. A cigarette is so much better after not having one for a while.
I want to work out 3 times a week. I want to be able to run the miles i could at the beginning of the year. I feel fat and i know im not, but i dont want to feel that way.
I also want to keep my place clean and maybe not stay up so late that i have to wake up past noon. Oh also no more porn. haha.
Because im a dork, i created my own health index. Its based on 2 parts. 1: The number of cigarettes i have on that day. and 2: the food that i ate compared to the exercize that i did that day. #1 is simple. #2 is a bit more complicated. You have to give the food a point value from 1-5 (1-healthy, 5-mcdonalds) and then give a value of 0-5 to the physical activity for the day. that will give you #2. so, to keep track:

Wed: 3+3=6. i totally want to get that down to like a 3 or 2 by the end... without changing the rules. yeah im procrastinating by making crappy health systems
