i got myself some smarts
i'm so fucking excited! :-D
i took a practice GRE on my computer today, and i scored 490 on the quantitative (32 percentile) and 570 on the verbal (73 percentile). those scores aren't great, but i have improved by studying for the past month quite a bit.
when i took the practice a couple months ago, i got 290 on the quantitative (2 percentile) and 360 on the verbal (24 percentile). so i'm getting better. and i still have a month to keep studying, so i should do pretty well. i just need to calm down on the math - i freak out and don't know what to do. i also need to learn how to DO the math parts. hehehehe
still don't know about the critical writing section... i think i'll be able to do well, i just need to read and practice a bit. and ETS is sending me some stuff in about 2 weeks to practice. so i'll have 2 more practice tests that include the writing sections (hopefully).
