Do your best not to worry, but take notice if your mood starts to change for the worse -such as suicidal thoughts, major mood swings, etc. Usually anti depressants and anxiety medications take some fiddling to get the right amount and medication. Just be patient. Lexapro works fantastically well with me, especially combined with mood stabilizers (for being bipolar). For some people, Lexapro doesn't work as well but they are more responsive to Prozac. Etc etc.

Keep in contact with your psychiatrist and when you meet with him/her, really tell them how you are feeling and report any major changes. Sometimes a dosage will simply have to be altered and any problems will go away. But patience is key, even though it sucks!

And, lately I haven't been feeling so artificially happy. I actually feel good because I feel good. Keep in mind that all the medication is doing is fixing something that is broken (the chemical imbalance in your brain). And we would like broken things to be fixed, wouldn't we?

I hope your medication journey goes well and you do not have as much trouble with medication as I have had. Good luck babe <3
