These are from the folk-tale collection The Snow Maiden and the Fox by Alexei Tolstoy published in 1988. The artist is M. Belyaeva, about whom I know nothing. There's a bit missing from the middle of the Baba Yaga illustration where I cropped out the stitching and the cover has the library's label. Heigh-ho.
