Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief
Wow, I seem to be on a roll with the movie trailer discoveries. This one was especially hard to dig up, since there are about 20 fake trailers on youtube, but I finally found the teaser trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
And, yeah, I think that looks pretty sweet. When I first saw the series I figured they couldn't be much more than a Harry Potter knockoff, and although they do have certain Rowlingian tendencies, they are definitely their own thing. Crammed full of Greek mythology, I'd say they're a treat for anyone who likes Harry Potter OR Greek Mythology. I'm in the middle of the last book in the series now (it's 5 books, for anyone who doesn't know) and it's very exciting! Probably get a full review on here sometime after I finish it. In the meantime, enjoy the new trailer!
