Because Cherokee tradition doesn't lend our people to recording our tales in writing (although we have some collections), they are hard to find but well worth the read.
Also, many Native American stories are more obscure.
One Cherokee tale that comes to mind is the legend of how Spider brought Fire. Another may include the Ants Who Pushed the Sky.
The Navajo have a traditional tale on Coyote and how he put the stars in the sky.
