Meghan's Mentally Projected Warning to her puppy, Satchel, as she watches him sniffing the fingers being slipped through her back fence, said digits being attached to a fairly young child:

"If you bite down, you are in Deep Shit, mister."

Crisis averted. ;)

one we took my doggie Ranger to the dog park, just to see what he'd do.

Now mind you, at home, he's a very angry dog to strangers. He's shreaded many pairs of jeans from company. But this is just at home. At the vet he's sweet. And we wanted him to get to know my brother's girlfriend in a neutral area (since he would still growl at her)

anyways, we didn't take him into the fenced are, just waited outside a bit, watching.

And then this little girl comes up to Ranger and starts petting him. He's just sitting there. She's petting his head, his face, poking his eyes in the process.

And he's just sitting there.

I just sort of stared, sending similiar messages to him not to attack her. *proud of him*

Course my boyfriend amuses himself by poking Ranger in the eyes whenever Ranger comes up to him. Ranger will blink, but not actually turn away or anything. He's very amusing like that.

hehehe. In the summer time, we get his hair shaved. He looks very funny. I need to get some pictures some time.

When the same girlfriend as before saw him after his hair cut, she laughed so much. It was so funny.

Hee. Is he dignified, at all? Mine wouldn't know dignity if it danced on their respective foreheads, waving a bag of dog treats.

oh gosh no. I think it's a rare dog that has dignity. And they're usually no fun anyways.

Mmmhm. Silly dogs are much better. They let *you* be silly, too.
