Just checking in!
Hey, everybody! Just checking in to let all y'all know I'm perfectly OK--I'm in the southern part of Japan, outside Kyoto, and so we barely even felt the quake down here. It actually took us a little while to realize we were having an earthquake. Almost my friends in Kanto have posted on FB saying they're OK, and I e-mailed people I hadn't heard from yet, but so far everyone seems fine.
