If you can call it talent...

Anyway, I don't know if anyone will watch this (or care), but I'm going to school to become a professional animator. Since I only have a week before I (somewhat begrudgingly...) return to MassART, I thought I'd share with you some of last semester's work.

If like you my stuff even remotely, please let me know and when I get started again I'll post here...but I won't hold my breath....
But thanks for watching anyway...

The Days of Hatsu Moto

This is my final for Animation 2, starring my character, Hatsu Moto. It uses some of the same animation methods as the "10 hour movie". (see below)

Miscellaneous: 10-hour --100 drawings movie

This was NOT shot with a video camera it was shot with an HD still camera and put into Final Cut Pro, which means that this movie is solely made up of single pictures, around 500 pictures at least.

It's called the 10-hour/100 drawings movie because we would be spending at least 10 hours making this film and we were required to draw at least one hundred frames of animation. We also we not allowed to use ANY digital transitions or enhancements, so what you see is exactly what you get...

Chindogu!!! Bus-T-Buddy (Also posted on my profile.)

This is the finished movie for my third assignment in Animation II: Chindogu. We were asked to make an invention that was helpful yet too impractical to work, thus, a "Chindogu".

The movie had to have a combination of live-action mixed with animation.
Matt Chana, who is the guy being pelted by my Bus-T-Buddy was a BIG help with his wondrous act of kindness to people he randomly just met.
And my buddy Amanda, who was awesome enough to help me shoot and carry equipment on an early Saturday morning.
I am not seen in this movie (thank GOD) but I am narrating... I had a cold... :(

BLUR (Not my fav, but still pretty cool.)

This is my fourth assignment from Animation II, the transition/transformation assignment. We were asked to create visual transitions without using digital enhancements, while using a still and/or digital camera.
This movie is okay.. I didn't have enough time left to make it better, I had to move on to make the Hatsu Moto movie... (See above)
