1) What is your opinion of this character? If you like, explain why you like him/her. Likewise if you dislike the character.
Initially, I loved him; he was intense and fascinating and, well... badass. Then I started looking more closely, delving into his character, and I found lots of reasons to hate him. :D; He's exclusive, elitist, sometimes cold, very unapproachable, and not easy to play with. He stuck around, though, and I'm glad - I'm much more comfortable with him, now, and in understanding him, I've come to forgive him his faults. ♥

2) Is he/she important to the general plot?
He doesn't play Echizen! D: But, well, he plays Tezuka, and Higa as a team had an impact on Seigaku, I think, so I suppose he is, somewhat.

3) Can you relate to this character at all? Do they grip you emotionally?I don't relate to him at all. I understand him, but we're very little alike, if at all, and I can't really relate. He does feel things very strongly, though; he's incredibly intense, and in that way, he tends to grip me

Really? XD; I have seen plenty of times that -- the fact that they hit Oiji and Saotome -- being a reason for Higa!hate plenty of times. By fanbrats exactly. >.>; Either way, they should stay away from Higa... they eat babies. >.>
