some dude broke into a window backstage at a modest mouse show in 98
hand bleeding, he intoduced himself as ugly casanova
the band adopted him and after much prodding he recorded some songs
then he disapeared
he sent a box of letters to subpop, which inspired the moon and antarctica
brian deck, issac brock, etc collaborated to cover ugly casanova's songs
and thats how the band ugly casanova came about.
