Finally online...
we finally got internet here a few weeks ago. The sofa we ordered STILL hasn't been shipped. Hmm... something tells me this isn't a service oriented country. oh well. we did get a car, but that was like *2* months ago... Germans do cars.
Been studying for GMAT... yech. The sentence correction drives me nuts. Idioms, verb-form agreement, verb-subjects, pronouns, logical predication... yech. I almost find being a native speaker is a handicap in this situation. Almost ALL the multiple choice answers sound right.
Other than that, been laying low. We're off to Canada next month so Emi can meet my folks... then back to Europe for an all-expenses paid trip to Italy. (My sister enters me in all these contests. I won the Italy trip way back and we're finally claiming the prize, but the trip starts from Canada. Ever wonder why 1-way tickets cost more than a round trip?! EVEN using frequent flyer miles?! What a crock!)
