i've almost completed my life goal to watch every video on ted.com
i used to learn shit and feel like my head was going to explode.
and now i always feel like there's too much empty room.
and there's an unsatisfiable void, that i can't fill no matter how much knowledge overloading i do.
people tell me having an insatiable appetite for a higher understanding is a good thing. but i think they're wrong.
and i'm sick of hearing people rhyme "world" with "girl", everyone does this, in every genre.
also "change" with "stayed the same".
in fact i wrote a song about Jessica Lynn Wilkerson when i was like 15, using both of those lines in the same verse.
rhyming gets discouraging when you realize that everyone recycles the same words.
it's the really creative people that can mask the finishing word with the preceding ones though, and come from a completely original direction
but most people don't/can't do that.
i think that's why i like Camp Lo so much, cause they hardly rhyme the end of their lines.
they just spew out a bunch of slang and "mad provocative fire" as Raekwon calls it.
just really flavorful, colorful words.
(Sonny Chiba and Geechie Suede do it (did it rather) better than Chef Rae though, they have a more consistent inconsistency, Raekwon uses the same rhyme scheme's over and over again)
the kind of words that are fun to say.
cause they sound exotic when you say them.
i guess it's all a matter of preference.
but sometimes people pop off with intriguing strings of syllables that sound more like magic spells than lyrics.
so now i end up texting myself specific words that stand out throughout my daily interactions.
and not necessarily big words. sometimes, but most often not.
either way, most people that can harness that talent don't have shit for content.
i suppose it's one of those give and take sort of deals.
that's all
