socially anxious, probably because i sleep literally all day. it was raining, and our poarch sort of drones on, and im reading alot, so it all adds up to lots of lethary. started reading peoples history, and i like it alot. zinn writes well, colloquial, so its very textbook like but still in his own words. he talks about historians and how their account of history shapes our morals. we are taught about the genocides, but at the same time about the heroism of columbus and the founding fathers, and the heroism always comes out on top. what a sham.
i spent a day at the mall last wednesday. a nice lady nocked 20 bucks off a pair of jeans for me, and i watched prariehome companion, which comes highly recomended. disclaimer: its got dry midwest humor.
im slipping down the steep slope of regrets, currently. this summer esspecially, and i justify it by saying the spring was too stressfull and i needed a break, but thats a cop-out. i hope fall is more fun,or atleast i hope i do what i want to do, instead of moaping around and muttering angrily about my shortcommings and exgirlfriend.
