I have not been available these last few weeks, I am at my family estate in the country. My wife has fallen ill, nothing serious but I had to prolong my stay. Particularly, I do not enjoy being away from the city when I know there are things going on that require my attention. I'll be leaving on Wednesday and should be in the capital by Friday.
We have received news from the north regarding the disputes. Things are never quiet up there, however, my father assured that at, the time of the letter, they were having a quiet and somewhat peaceful time.

It is good to have received news from my father. It had been a while. Apparently, he lost some of his men. He sounded upset. I already replied to him and sent the messenger a few days ago to Stella, it will be on its way once new men join the battle. I hope I haven't worried him further with my concerns. Our attempts have been in vain, Aya is still no pregnant. We have given up hope. It is frustrating and I believe that is the reason why she is ill. I know, as a husband, I should stay here for another couple of weeks, but my responsibilities require me to be selfless and think of the greater good. If she is feeling better, I might bring her with me. Maybe sometime in the castle, change of environment, might do her good.
