Sea Eagles have beautiful feathers, but they are difficult creatures to catch. I just acquired 3 of them which makes me quite happy. Accuracy is highly improved with their feathers, for someone like me at least. Apparently, my archers can't tell the difference. I cannot express the extend of my disappointment; therefore, I'll shall be holding ( Read more... )

I am looking forward to it. I'm a little rusty, after having been forbidden to practice by my doctor, but he's lifted the ban, now, so I am eager to get back into it.

What was the matter? Arm, shoulder, back?

Severely bruised left elbow, dislocated left shoulder. That was months ago, though, and I'm told I've been healing quite nicely since then.

As long as it's not the right shoulder.

If you think handness has anything to do with what side you hold the bow then you should definitely come and talk to me.

(ooc: pretend this was before the weekend)

It matters, for me, because I have not previously had the proper strength in my right arm for drawing the bow. I am also more accurate when I hold the bow with my right, and draw with my left.

Strength in archery comes from your back not the arm, and accuracy comes from your dominant eye, not your dominant hand. Not many people are left handed, even less people have a left dominant eye, the chances of having both left is very scarce. Which is why I said you should come talk to me.

There will be plenty of chances to talk in person, and you will see for yourself how I draw, aim, and fire.

(ooc: >> Tez is a little twitchy about Toku second-guessing him.....so now he plans on doing a little pre-training training, to make sure he won't look like a complete fool out there. x_x;;; )

There won't. I'm only giving private time to those interested, if you do not wish to come to me you are welcome to join the group practice instead.

This is not a challenge or a competition. There is no need to try and prove yourself, but improve yourself.

[ooc: nothing personal Tez, it's for your own good. He might even practice with the special arrows if he stop being so proud and actually comes talk to him]
