Once Again With Feeling

Today was the first day of my (hopefully) last semester of school. I've only one class to attend this semester (Statistics), an internship to fulfill (having paid for all the hours), and my Master's Comp Exam (to be taken at a date later in this semester).

I would be more enthusiastic, if I wasn't so tired.

No rolling backpack?

When I ditched the backpack last year, one of the motivations for not returning to it was the limitation of quick access. It's easier to cut across campus and take a few flights of stairs (better down than up) with a 20lb backpack than searching around for an elevator or ramped pavement access because of the wheels.

Because I've only got 1 class this year - and it's got a heavy online presence - I'm carrying more at one time in the pack. Before, I was able to swap out books for the laptop (and vice-versa) between classes to keep the weight down. After these first few weeks of school, I'll have a better idea of the parking situation about 1 hour before class and whether I really need to keep bringing my laptop for every class.
