Plotbunnies: A - I

This is the first post for plotbunnies and other ideas for Tok'ra related fiction. It covers symbiotes with names starting with "A" to "I", if the symbiote doesn't have a canon name it's been replaced by the hosts name instead.

Crossovers between Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Stargate Universe has been moved here.

Remember that these prompts are only suggestions and you can use as much or as little of them as you want. Feel free to mix and match whatever your Muse takes a liking to, or to use none of them.

Symbiote/Aldwin

• Why don't the symbiote speak?
• Why did he join the Tok'ra?
• How does Aldwin become a host (how it happened)
• His symbiote takes his first host.
• Why did he become shy? (the symbiote)
• He gets a new, shy host.
• He has to pretend to be Goa'uld to survive/save someone.
• Aldwin/someone ship - who would he fit with? He absolutely can't be the one initiating a relationship!
• His symbiote takes a new host - O'Neill! How does that go? A timid symbiote in O'Neill! Poor symbiote - he's not going to get a word in - but maybe he likes it that way!

Symbiote/Charlie the Reetou

• Charlie the Reetou kid. Does anyone remember Charlie of the Reetou? Can you picture him and Mini-Jack thinking about attending Cal-Sci? Jack's not dumb- he wouldn't have survived special ops if he was- but he plays dumb, IMO, to get people to underestimate him. Thus making it easier to blow the evil Goa’uld out of orbit. But I could see Mini-Jack having been allowed to show off his smarts, and acting as a big brother to Charlie Reetou. (And what ever happened to that kid? I hate how the writers never told us. Did he grow up and marry Anise/Freya or what?)

Anise/Freya

• Why did Freya become Tok'ra?
• She is a scientist - what would happen if she took Jack as host?
• Anise/Freya/Jack ship - how did they become a pair?
• Anise/Freya/Daniel ship. They have archaeology in common. They got together on a mission to some ruins on an alien planet.
• Anise/Freya cannot choose and Daniel and Jack both want them. They go to a planet with looser social mores and end up a foursome.
• How did Freya become Anise's host?
• Something about Freya's life before becoming a host.
• Something about Anise's former host - and her life before taking that host (or before Freya at any rate).
• Anise before she took her first host - and some about just after taking her first host.
• How do a symbiote decide to become a scientist? What happened in her life to make her do that?
• Was she born Tok'ra or originally Goa'uld?
• Do symbiotes go to school or do they have some kind of mentor/student thing? Does Anise have students who study with her? Let's hear about her daily life and working with those!
• Anise finally manage to convince Daniel to have a relationship with her and Freya (and then to become a host).
• One of the AR teams in "Ripple Effect" included Anise/Freya.
• Anise/Freya/Daniel is a couple when SG1 meet Vala.
• Give us a history to Anise/Freya. Show them/her in a un-parody fashion. That's Anise and/or Freya-- your pick as to which you give a history to. Or do both-- maybe starting with their blending. Did either have a mate at the time? Mates (plural)? What did Garshaw think?    Was Delek a bastard back then? Or did he become a bastard BECAUSE of something they did? Did they get along with Jolinar? Did Martouf stray from his love when he set eyes on them? Show us that Anise and/or Freya have/has some personality beyond the promiscuous bitch(es) from hell that we've seen so far. Give her/them dimension.
• In "Divide and Conquer", Martouf isn't the Zatarc. Anise/Freya is.
• Daniel is falling in love with Anise and Freya, but doesn't feel like he can have a relationship with a Tok'ra, because they remind him of what happened to Sha're. He is wounded on a mission, as is an OC Tok'ra - somehow they convince him to be a host, temporarily. Something happens which means they can't unblend immediately, and he ends up living in the tunnels for some time. He starts a relationship with Anise and Freya. Probably he ends up agreeing to remain Tok'ra.
• 1. SG-1 must be captured by villagers who think they are witches or demons. 2. The Tok'ra sends someone to help - Anise must be one of them. 3. Because Daniel is able to read some of the old scriptures, the locals insist he must be burned. 4. Anise has to take responsibility for him and they must prove his innocence somehow. 5. Anise must dress as a noblewoman from the middle ages. 6. Daniel and Anise must kiss and the locals must think he is forcing himself on Anise, until she explains. 7. Freya and Anise must discuss the merits of Daniel versus Jack.

• What happened to turn Cordesh against the Tok'ra?

Delek/Host

• Why is he so annoying?

Egeria/Host

• Why did she became Tok'ra?
• She accidentally takes a host while the Pangarans are experimenting on her. How does this change things, and how does she go about finding the Tok'ra?
• Ra was unsuccessful in capturing Egeria and she went into hiding. How would this change the dynamics between the Tok'ra, the Jaffa, the Goa'uld, and the rest of the galaxy? Does Egeria have her own Jaffa army since she needs to spawn more offspring? Does she have her own territory, a (hidden) homeworld, or do they still live in the Tok'ra Tunnels?
• While fleeing from Ra Egeria gates to a planet without a functioning DHD but with a thriving population. About two millennia later SG-1 gates to the same planet.
• One of the AR teams in "Ripple Effect" included Egeria.
• Egeria is hiding/being protected by the Sodan.
• What if Sam had taken Egeria in 'The Cure' instead of Kelmaa, but Egeria doesn’t die. What would happen then? Who would Sam/Egeria pick as their mates to produce more Tok’ra? (Lantash/Martouf or Malek preferred.) Would they live at the SGC, Tok’ra base, or somewhere else?
• Sam is killed in battle, but she ascends on her own. When she reaches the plane of the Ascended, she finds her father and Selmak there. Sam decides she doesn't want to stay Ascended, and she decides to return to the lower world. The Ascended are sorry that they let Anubis ravage the galaxy and decimate the Tok'ra so badly. As a gift of apology, they let Sam take back one currently dead symbiote with her. Sam ends up choosing Egeria.
• How did she become Tok'ra? I want people to write about the start of the Tok’ra. I am keeping VERY general in my topic requirements. You can delve into the mythology, Egeria's origins, her capture, the time when the Tok’ra fledglings were first finding their way without Egeria.... anything! It just cannot start more than 150 years after Egeria has left.
• Egeria survived. She will probably be an interesting ally. Look at these things: The changed power dynamics within the Tok’ra and between them and the Tau’ri, the look into distant history, her own assimilation of the way the galaxy has changed since she was captured would all have been interesting storylines. We also get more Tok'ra kids and they need hosts. Will the Tau'ri provide them? Will the Tok'ra be less paranoid with more people? Fight more openly like the Tau'ri?
• Egeria does not die at the end of “Cure”, the Tok’ra were able to rescue her before her condition was fatal. Tell the story of how she changes the Tok’ra movement / what effect her reappearance had. She seemed quite generous and forgiving.
• Egeria returns to the series' reality through the quantum mirror to help the Tok’ra.  
• According to what we currently know about “Continuum”, everything does not end up being back to "normal" at the end. Write a Tok'ra-friendly end/continuation. What has changed? Does the Tok'ra have a queen? (Egeria was saved before it was too late perhaps), are Jacob/Selmak, Martouf/Lantash, Aldwin, still alive? And/or is the alliance with the Tau'ri much stronger and the SGC behave more civil to the Tok'ra.    Perhaps there are still many Goa'uld to fight and we never met the Ori.
• “The Cure”: SG1 meet the Pangarans at the end of the third season and when they realize the queen symbiote is Egeria, mother of the Tok'ra race, Sam volunteers to become her host and save her life. Daniel is alive, Egeria create an antidote for the Pangarans and then leaves with the Tok'ra...  Relationship: Sam/Egeria/Martouf/Lantash... Missions... Creating new generations of Tok'ra, research, willing hosts for a new generation.
• Egeria spawned the 'Tok’ra’ about 2000 years ago. The Tok’ra resistance is comprised of the symbiotes she spawned. They've never said how many litters Egeria had. She could have spawned kidlets for several or many years, thus making Selmak the oldest...or like someone suggested, Selmak may not be a spawn of Egeria, just loyal to Egeria. What if Selmak’s host happened to give Egeria the code of life to make her kidlets? That would certainly make him (her?) the oldest.
• Remember the episode called "Seth?" The Tok’ra find out that Seth, a system lord, never left the earth. What if, instead of Seth, they found out Egeria had been imprisoned in a stasis jar in Death Valley, in Egypt? What if, once there, the jar broke and Sam had to become host to the Tok’ra queen to save her life?

Garshaw of Belote/Yosuuf

• Why did she become Tok'ra?
• Garshaw is mentioned as the mosted hunted Goa'uld of all time. Tell us why. Remember this is pre-Teal'c's defection.
• How did she meet Yosuuf, and why did the woman volunteer to become a host?
• The most hunted of all times.
• Jacob/Selmak and Yosuuf/Garshaw, all four personalities are involved and interacting as part of the relationship. At least reference how they came to be together even if you don't show it specifically. There must be some drama in the story. Possible ideas include: an argument between them on a topic of your choice, or one is on a mission undercover that goes bad and is captured and the other must rescue them.
