I just got back from seeing Adam live.
It was amazing.
Please excuse the probably nonsensical ramble that follows.
Getting into Stockholm was a nightmare, ugh. Everything that could go wrong did, basically. When I finally got there I met up with birdisland, jeyhawk, and teh_ace at McDonalds, where we sat and just talked for a while. It was really great meeting you guys!
At around 17:30 or so birdisland and I went over to Berns and got in line, jeyhawk and teh_ace stood with us for a while before jeyhawk split. Had a brief moment of panic when the girl at the door didn't see a "+1" next to my name on the guestlist, but it turned out that I was just on it twice, once thanks to Jon and once because I won tickets.
When I went inside some photographer grabbed me and took a picture of me in front of a neon pink wall and then wrote down my name on a list D: I'm just hoping my picture won't show up on a website somewhere. DNW.

I look like crap tho D: My hair looks all gross and wtf is that face.
Bah. Anyway.
The place was tiny, as was the stage. We got really good spots though, right in front of Adam. I was literally like three meters from his face. It was glorious. I was also like half a head taller than the people in front of me so I had a perfect view. Btw, Swedish people suck at enthusiasm. I was the only one of the people close to the stage who was dancing. Everyone else just kind of stood there. Wtf :| I'm pretty sure Adam noticed me though, because I was the only one moving. LP definitely did, I smiled at him and he smiled back, which was totally weird. I don't think I've ever seen the guy smile.
Adam was presh ♥ He joked that they flew to Sweden with their arms, and then he flapped his arms to demonstrate lol. 'Twas cute. I'm pretty sure he was as :| as I was about the lack of enthusiasm, because several times he was like "whoo louder! Dance! Do something!". After Broken Open, he had to tell off some middle-aged bitch standing at the side of the stage for talking really loudly. She was fucking annoying. He wasn't even nice about it like with the girl on the phone, he was just like "can you chill? You're blabbering. Here I am trying to sing about sex and intimacy and you're just all chatter, chatter, chatter, chatter!". It was awesome, the crowd started laughing and she looked pissed. After WWFM he took a sip of his drink and asked what "cheers" is in Swedish, and half the crowd shouted "SKÅL" at him. The look on his face was hilarious. He was like "wow, yeah, that". After Mad World they walked off the stage and people started chanting "one more time" except in Swedish. Because he'd totally understand that. They quickly came back and sat down and Adam was like "lolol well we didn't prepare for this at all".
He looked fabulous, btw. Not sure what the hair was all about tho. But the suit looked great, kind of 19th century-ish.
Music Again and WWFM were both great (the crowd lol'd at the bad french, he giggled). Sleepwalker was fantastic, best version yet I'm pretty sure. Uptempo Mad World, the final note was insane. Broken Open was beautiful, although slightly ruined by the bitch who wouldn't shut the fuck up. DtRH was hilarious and amazing, he went nuts. Stood up halfway into the song and started dancing and rolling his hips and waving his arms around and shit. He also did some lyric changes, or maybe he just sung it wrong idk. Lyrics are not his forte.
Hearing his voice live, in a such a small setting, was so amazing. A totally different experience from hearing it from a video or audio recording. I knew his voice was insane but jesus fuck. I'm so happy I got to experience that.
And then it was over :( We met elizaria and her friend after the show, as well as teh_ace who managed to get inside without a ticket. Jon was there too! We went up to the restaurant above but you had to reserve a table, so we all just stood by the bar. Monte and LP came down to the bar for a while, but I didn't want to bother them so I didn't walk over to say hi :| Now I kind of wish I had, I really wanted to meet them. For some reason a lot of Swedish celebs were there. Or so I was told, I didn't recognize any of them. I'm not really up to speed on Swedish pop culture. We all stood there and talked for a while, it was really great meeting everyone. I left early tho, I was dead tired. My shoes were hot but after having walked in them for 7 hours straight my feet were kind of killing me.
Took the subway and got stared at by some creep :| Watched my footage from the show on the way home, it's pretty crap. But I saw several people filming, so I'm sure awesome videos will pop up somewhere.
I didn't get a chance to meet him, but I'm thinking it's for the best. I'm way too shy and socially awkward. I would just have embarrassed myself and that would not have been a pleasant memory to take with me from this experience. This way, no unpleasantness for me \o/ Just happiness.

Jon was talking to some guy who works at Sony, I think it was, who said that Adam will be back in Sweden before the summer! \o/ DW.
This entire evening was fucking incredible. I can't believe I finally got to see Adam Lambert. It's been almost exactly a year since I first discovered him (I just checked, my first LJ entry about him was on April 11th 2009). lol I can't believe I still love him just as much (if not more) as I did a year ago. My attention span is usually way shorter than this.
In conclusion, ilhim. The end.
