ciao tuttiiiii. oggi e il mio compleanno! :) ho vent'uno anni~~~
i am 21 today hahahah yayyyyy. i didn't do anything too crazy. here's my super cool day bro:
woke up around 11, chilled, mitch (my lil bro) and i had coffee and smokes and watched america's next top model for like two hours and made fun of everyone. i_was_a_camera came and picked us up to go get sushi around 1 o yes. we tried a couple of new things. mitch and i split some legit ramen with all sorts of great stuff in it and got some sushi - spicy tuna, bbq eel, and we both decided to try conch for the first time. it was cute we were like "omg 1, 2, 33333" and ate it... and chewed. it was tough as hell, reminded me of octopus except not as good. not doing that again. i also got a piece of octopus and decided to try sea urchin. DID NOT LIKE but lol yay for trying it w/e. it was mushy and creamy and tasted like a mouth full of fish water from my fishpond. the taste bothered me more than the texture. i'm german, i eat braunschweiger, so mushy meats is nbd
so after sushi we went to an asian market and got bubble tea yeahhhhhh. sooo goood. i haven't had it in like four years and i was so happy i got honeydew yasss.
went home and chilled until mom came back from ~"running errands" and then we went to my favorite restaurant, greenwood's, which is like an hour away but the best place ever. this old santa clause-lookin guy turned his house into a restaurant and all his recipes are fantastic, homemade, made-when-you-order, good old comfort food. i was like yeahhhh and then
and then
some guy in a dress shirt comes up to my table and he starts singing opera to me and i realise he's singing happy birthday and i was like
OH
OH
LOL OMG i was so red lmfao. the entire restaurant stopped and was like wth
this guy could sing, i was really impressed and pleased. the people there are sooo nice. i cant. when the waitress learned it was my bday she actually went across the street to the other restaurant the santa clause-guy owns to grab this amateur opera-singing waiter that works there to come over and sing to me.
in short, very csb
and i also got a glass of wine with my dinner. oooo im really livin up this being-21 thing rofl.
i got lotsa monies for my bday yeahhhh. i'm gonna use part of it to buy an iphone 3 o yes. the rest of it will probs be saved for my trip to italy in may
god speaking of, i was in my car listening to this really emotional liga song and i realised when i go to florence i'm going to go into san lorenzo and see the medici tombs holy god and i was like oh no and just started crying at like midnight driving to downtown ATL crying about seeing dead italian people oh me. w/e lorenzo is my hero. my ugly hot hero
oh yeah i also got my septum pierced :) YEAH
