"Reita, why is there a pair of underwear in the freezer?" I hook my finger at the cold elastic and pull it out to show him.

He pours himself a glass of orange juice from a carton. "Oh, last time Ruki was here we were playing a game? Guess we forgot about it. "

"Why wasn't I asked to play?" I ask, looking at the underwear I'm still holding. I seem to a have an attachment to it. "Wait a sec. These are mines." No wonder.

"You were out chasing that Aoi guy." Reita opens the bottom refrigerator to put the juice carton back and takes his drink to the living room. "And we used yours ‘cuz we found it under the couch.”

I follow him out. "How it got there?"

Reita sits down, sips his orange juice, then retrieves the remote and switches the TV on. "We also found a condom there too. I suppose it's yours."

"Oh?" I plop next to him on the couch. "So, did you guys use it?" I wiggle my brow and grin.

Reita narrows his eyes at me. Uh-oh. With the TV remote still in his hand, he uses it to hit me on the head.

"What's this?" In front of me are ten different cocktails, from the colors of the rainbow, lined up on the bar counter. "Is this for me?"

Standing in the center of this all is Aoi, so I suspect something is going on.

"Yea. This is the last ten of the thirty drinks you said I owed you."

He is trying to get rid off me. I knew this was going to happen. And just when he seemed to be showing some interest in me. "Are you trying to imply something?"

"Think whatever you like, but this is the last night I'll be working at The Juice Factory," Aoi says. Then he holds out a hand and gestures at the perfectly lined drinks. "So, I've made all these so you don't have to stop by every night from now on. Unless you want Kazu to serve you."

What is he talking about? He should no the only reason I come is to see him, and occasionally see some bands. I don't want Kazu! I want Aoi! Or Yuu. Or whatever hell the name he chooses to use. Actually I like the name Aoi much better, it fits him.

"Wait," I snap. "Why all of a sudden?"

"I just don't want to have anything to do with my uncle anymore. And this is his bar afterall." He's talking about the same uncle that's having an affair with his dad. It is sort of a hard thing to handle. Plus he has to keep it all from his mother and aunt. I've seen Aoi's uncle come down here a couple times, and they always end up in some sort of argument. It was more arguing from Aoi's part though.

I'm going to miss coming to The Juice Factory every night. The people here are nice. The music is good. The varieties of cocktails to taste are amazing. Plus, I was just getting to know Aoi a bit more. Maybe sometimes he can be cold and completely ignore me the whole night, but other times he'd stop his work and chat with me.

They were really short conversations, but I liked them. He'd tell me random things about himself without me asking. Like, once he got grope on the train by an old lady, like I was, except he got to keep his wallet. During high school he was in a gang for like a month before his big brother found out and got him out of it, even though Aoi didn't wanted to. Then he got his bellybutton pierced; his sister saw it and wanted hers done too, so he took his off. Bummer. He also said he's thought of being a stuntman before, because he wants to fly.

He's so weird.

"Okay, if I finish all of these cocktails here," I wonder. "Would you take me home?" I look down the row glasses. "I mean with all the different mixtures of alcohol in a person's system it would be irresponsible to let him go out in the streets all alone, don't you think?"

"Fine. I'll take this as your last request," Aoi says with a smug smile.

Baby, do you really think this is going to be my last request. You're not even mines yet.

Aoi's car won't start, so Aoi lets me lean on him as we walk along the streets. I purposely stumble in my steps as we walk to make it seem like I'm drunker than I actually am. A few times I pretend to almost fall on my face to make things dramatic, but one or two times were real.

We reach a park and Aoi begins to drag me to the nearest bench under a big tree.

Then he drops me like a sack of potatoes. "Hey! Watch the ass this bench is made of stone, ya know." I rub my sore butt cheek. Good thing I'm not those guys with boney behinds or this would have been a serious injury.

"It appears you're not as drunk as you were a minute ago." He massages his shoulder, that supported me before. "So I'll be going now."

"Wait," I stop him. "So you're just gonna leave me here? How about taking me home?"

"Did you hear me promise I would talk you home," Aoi murmurs. "In those words?"

What a meanie. "Well I am still a little intoxicated," I whine, resting my head on top of the bench. "How am I suppose to walk home on my own?"

Aoi scans the ground, picks up a fallen tree branch, and puts it in my hand. "There, if a stray dog comes along and tries to attack you use it to protect yourself." Is he serious? "If there's nothing else, see ya."

He walks pass me. As I watch him leave, my mind goes numb. I stand up from the bench, while finding my balance from the dizziness. "No," I call out.

I catch up to Aoi, grab him, spin him, and circle my arms around him. "Please don't leave me here," I plea, burying my face in his neck. No guy can resist the begging routine. "I want you to stay with me tonight."

I lift my head up to look at his face, also to be sure it's him, and it is. His eyes have a twinkle to them. They're so beautiful. He's beautiful. And his lips. I want to taste them. My hand finds its way on his cheek, brushing hair away.

This was easier than I thought. Aoi's not even fighting me back. He's just staring back at me. Is he mezmerised by my beauty too. Strike that, I sound conceited. No matter, as my other hand's already behind his neck I pull him in until I capture his lips, pushing my tongue deep into his mouth. A soft moan escapes his lips.

"A...a...achoo!"

I crack one eye open, and a bright beam of light hits me. "Morning..."

The ceiling looks exceptionally green today, and leave-y. Though, my ceiling isn't green, nor is my bed hard as a rock. I sit up, look down, and I'm covered in newspaper. The ceiling - is the big tree. "I've slept in the park the whole night!"

"Oy, oy, shut up kid, I'm trying to sleep down here," a voice calls from below.

"Sorry. Huh?" Sprawled out on a tatami mat on the ground was a homeless-man. Oh no, did I take his bench? Where's Aoi?

Last night I got drunk, then he carried me to this park. Later I tried to kiss him, then in the middle I had to puke, and I passed out. That's it.

"Aaahh! I'm such a fucking idiot."

"Oy, didn't I tell you to shut up kid." The homeless man is up now.

Should I ask this homeless guy? "I'm really sorry mister, but did you see the person who covered me with these newspapers last night."

He scratches his salt-and-pepper hair and squints his eyes like he's thinking really hard. He opens his mouth, and two teeth are missing from the front. "You talking about the boy with the fish hook in his mouth, ya?"

Fish hook? He must mean Aoi's lip ring. "Yea, him. Do you know when he left?"

"Does it look like I have a watch on me?"

Wrong question.

But he continues. "Anyway, when I came back from a long day of treasure hunting I saw you laying on my bench and your friend covering you with newspaper so you won't be cold. I was looking to give you guys a piece of my mind for stealing my bench. But then your friend said to let you sleep here for the night and gave me some money then leaves."

So that's how I ended up here all night. I don't know if I should thank Aoi or -

I feel something beside my leg. It's the dead tree branch that he gave me if a stray dog comes to attack me.

However, my conclusion is he didn't take me home because he thinks I'd be the one who's going to attack him.

"Aww, Kai, you're such a sweetheart."

It's the after lunch-hour, and usually at this time Kai brings over some food for Reita and me for our late-lunch time in the music store. Today he brought pork chops, katsu curry, and miso soup.

"It's really nothing. They're just leftovers," Kai says, smiling.

"But there delicious leftovers." I stuff a piece of pork chop in my mouth. "And if Reita and Ruki doesn't come out soon I'm eating their shares too." They're having their guitar lesson, still.

"Now that I think about it. I've never seen you guys come into my restaurant to eat."

"Well, we're a..." I can't say the reason we don't go is because we don't want to pay so we can wait for you to bring us free leftovers. That would be rude and pathetic of us. "Can you pass me the miso soup?" It's better to just stuff my mouth with food instead.

"Mmm, this is really good. What's this?" Something's in the soup. "Looks like a - " Using a chopstick I clip it up, I find a webbed-feet, no, two. Instantly, I drop it back in.

"It's frog," Kai says, confirming my speculation. "You’re drinking our special today, Lucky Miso Soup. And you know frogs bring good luck."

"I know that." My stomach feels queazy. He could of left out the toes and chop the rest of the leg in smaller pieces. "Maybe I'll save it for later," I said, pushing it to the side.

"Okay." Kai let out a small chuckle all of a sudden. "It's funny. All the costumer said the same thing today, that's why we have a lot of soup leftover."

Suddenly a crashing sound is heard from the back room.

"What was that?" Kai says.

"Not sure. I'll go check." So I go ahead on back to see what is up.

I come to the back room, and open the door enough to peek inside but not to be seen.

"Ruki cut it out."

"Quit your acting Reita."

I can't believe it. Ruki has Reita wrestled to the ground.

"I don't know what you're talking about. Get off of me you little -" Reita has his hand pushing Ruki's face away. He struggles a bit, but he rolls over, now above Ruki.

Without warning, Ruki thrusts Reita up to standing position and push the latter against the bookshelf. "I don't believe you."

I'd like to note that they haven't let go of each other through all of this.

"You are crazy and get your hand out of my pants." Reita takes the opportunity, grabbing both of Ruki's hands forcing the other to go back until they fall on to the couch.

"Okay, say I believe what you're saying is true. Then it means you do like me, but you just don't know it yet. Or else we wouldn't be in this position right now."

What Ruki said just hit Reita. They were on a big comfy couch, which he has Ruki pinned down to, and he was hovering on top of him with himself kneeled between the other's legs. Looks pretty hot to me.

Oh, I forgot about Kai.

"Maybe we should leave them alone."

I turn my head around and there's Kai. How long has he been there?

There it is the much anticipated Ruki/Reita revelation is answered, kind of.
& some random notes: Aoi really does have an older brother and sister
And Aoi had mentioned somewhere that he'd like to try flying on to stage during a live sometime, on wires, of course.
Hope you all enjoy this chappie.
